Sir Syed Hussain Sajjad is a third-generation leader at TELEC Group, one of Pakistan’s oldest and most respected engineering enterprises established in 1952. As Chief Operating Officer, he oversees a diversified portfolio spanning power and energy systems, defence technologies, ICT and cybersecurity solutions, port and maritime infrastructure, fintech systems, and advanced technical training.
With nearly two decades of executive experience, Syed Hussain has been instrumental in modernising TELEC’s operations and extending its footprint into emerging technologies that strengthen Pakistan’s industrial and national capabilities. His leadership blends engineering depth, commercial strategy, and a clear commitment to legacy continuity within a multi-generational business.
Syed Hussain’s educational foundation spans engineering, business, and family enterprise management. He holds degrees in Telecommunication Engineering (FAST-NUCES) and Business Computing (London Metropolitan University, UK), along with a Diploma in Family Managed Business from IBA Karachi.
His professional development includes international technical training with leading global OEMs and a PMP certification from CONSAK Canada, equipping him with both operational expertise and global industry perspective.
Beyond the corporate sphere, Syed Hussain is deeply engaged in national discourse on security, maritime strategy, media impact, and industrial development. He is a graduate of several prestigious national programs including the National Security, National Media and Maritime Security Workshops.
